Check Fund Manager Privacy Policy and Business Practices

This Privacy Policy covers Check Fund Manager's web site and Check Fund Manager's business practices for handling personal identifying information provided to Check Fund Manager by its clients who have demonstrated a legitimate business purpose for requesting research on the companies and individuals they are investing with. Check Fund Manager is the vendor of choice for many leading financial institutions who invest in alternative investments and wish to avoid undue risk through proper due diligence.

Use of Information

All Check Fund Manager clients must agree to comply with the terms and conditions outlined in our business agreement. An important term of the agreement is the client's stipulation that our report is to be used for fraud prevention and not as a factor in determining an individual's eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, or for any other purpose that would cause the report to be considered a Consumer Report under the FCRA. We operate as a research company and not as a Consumer Reporting Agency (CRA). As such, we have unrestricted access to information not available to agencies that operate as a CRA conducting employment related research. Our clients also agree not to share our research outside of their organization.

Legal Compliance

The collection, compilation and distribution of information by Check Fund Manager is done in compliance with all applicable international, federal and state laws and regulations, including the FCRA in the United States and the GDPR in Europe.

Vendor Approval

Our facility, operating procedures, security, business practices and licenses have been inspected and/or approved by agents of the credit bureaus and other non-public information providers we utilize. We have been approved by our vendors to retrieve both credit reports and driving records.
